To all my fellow readers who want to organize their book cases and add a touch of vintage/dark academia decor, I designed this product just for you!

I wanted a to create these mini genre signs to serve as both book shelf decor and a useful way to categorize books. The vintage shape and font lend themselves well to academia, Victorian, gothic,and cottage core styles.

I cut these little blocks out by hand on my scroll saw, paint them, and then laser engrave custom genres of your choosing. They’re made of 3/4” pine.

Each genre block measures 4”x1.5”

If you’re interested in a different size or color, I’m open to further customization as well! Please don’t hesitate to reach out.

These book genre blocks are customizable and will make an amazing gift for any book lover. You can opt to order them with or without the hanging hardware attached at the top. They honestly look great either way. ( please note the vintage style hanging hardware is included when you select the hanging option, but the twist in hooks to hang them from are not).
